Blood orange

Deceptively orange on the outside...


Suitably bloody on the inside.


Neat!  Except, it tastes just like a regular, bloodless orange.


How disappointing.  Ah well.  More aesthetically pleasing (or freaky) in fruit salads, maybe.

Tastiness: Exactly as tasty as an orange, which (as has been previously established [see: tangerine]) is delicious.  Eight.

Ease of extraction: Messy like orange, sticky like orange, impractical for places without knives or faucets like orange.  But seedless.  So, six.
.
Overall nommability: forty-eight.
